Boston

We are enjoying our time here before Joshua's surgery. We got in late last night and really love the patient housing for more reasons than it only costing $30 a night. They have a kids area to do crafts, play, borrow movies and books. The best part is just having other families close by with kids that are having surgeries or treatments. The staff is super helpful and nice. It is really a blessing!

This is a little walking park a few blocks from where we are staying.
Yesterday Joshua was happy that we went to eat some Chinese noodles. We had a tense moment before boarding the plane when he decided he didn't want to go and ran off but we drug him on the plane and he settled by the time we took off.

We went on a trolley tour today and are looking forward to going back tomorrow to see more sites. We'll see Paul Revere's house, the graveyard where alot of the signers of the Declaration are buried, the site of the Boston Massacre, China Town, and I'm sure others that I can't remember this late. Grace is really enjoying it and we are enjoying spending time with her too!

Today the only site we had time to get off the trolley and see was the State House.  It was really cool though!

This is us waiting for our pre op appointment at Children's. When the doctors were talking to us about the surgery he wasn't near as happy as here but I can't say I blame him. As for me, I'm starting to just want to get it over with.
Tonight, we ate at an Italian place with our friends we stayed with last time we were here. They are such a sweet, fun family.

We continue to appreciate your prayers as we prepare for Joshua's surgery and for God to continue to give him peace and courage (for us too!)
