Isaac's camping trip

For Isaac's birthday he wanted to go camping (in a tent) and rock climbing. He and Clayton and a friend went camping for a night and rock climbing. Here are some pictures of them before they left. They had a great time! I expect he'll sleep great tonight.

They stayed one night and this is Isaac when they got home.....

Sweet school pictures!

There are many things that are difficult about home schooling but photos and experiencs like these make it very worthwhile and fun!

Baseball happenings...

Grace and Isaac are playing baseball this season. They both had their first games and did so well and had a blast!

Joy and Faith are taking ballet so I'll have to remember to take my camera next class for them! They are beautiful of course!

Clayton enjoys helping on both of their teams... minus the conversations his wife has with him periodically about his competitiveness.

He's such great dad and coach!

The fans enjoying the heat.....

Isaac's 6

Where does the time go?

Isaac enjoyed his Mario birthday. One of the kids' fun memories of birthdays is getting to pick out a theme. I enjoy it too since it shows what they really liked for that year.

Somebody tell my son to smile a real smile please!! He is such a handsome kid and so fun to be around!

Oh and if you see a puppy in the pictures too that is our new baby. Mei Li (very pretty in Mandarin) is her name! She's a golden retriever and alot of work but sweet nonetheless! The good thing is that with 5 kids there seems to always be someone who wants to play with her when she needs to be worn out.... because she finds ANYTHING to chew on except her bones, chewies, and toys when she isn't asleep under our kitchen table!

An Orphan'sWish

For about a month now I have had the privilege to help advocate for children from Guilin, China.

This is where Joy is from. These are the people that literally helped save her life.

Now there are other children waiting for families.

Could one of these little ones be yours.... waiting for you to take that first step of faith?

Honduras Adoption Anyone?!?!

We just received an email from the agency we used for Joshua's adoption that they are starting adoptions from Honduras! Here is the information we have and please contact them if you are interested:
  • Children from 6 months to 14 years of age are available
  • Only one parent needs to be between 25 - 50 years of age
  • The program typically will take about a year from start to completion (child in your arms!)
We love Living Hope Adoption Agency and had a wonderful experience with them! Contact Aimee or Jinny at Living Hope with any questions and for more information.
