Moving from peeved to praise

Not a real sprititual title I know but it is what it is. I was reminded yesterday that this trial was temporary, merely a short season of life for our little man. And that God's plans were good and prosperous, that there was no need to be discouraged nor afraid because God would be with us wherever we went (Joshua 1:8,9). The exact verse that led me to Joshua's name 3 years ago.

Here are some VERY fun pictures of our little guys "friend" birthday party at the park today. He is always SOOO excited about his birthday, his cake, his presents.... I mean really, really, excited. It's hard to believe he was placed in our arms 3 years ago next Tuesday.

Here was dinner... Catfish and the part looking at you is it's head... mmmm! Maybe it wasn't nerves that made it so Grace couldn't eat dinner. I fixed stuff they would like too but having fish eyes looking at you while you are eating beef roast, rice, and green beans probably wasn't the best for an already nervous stomach!
The girls had their piano and violin recital tonight. They all did magnificent! Joy was so excited to get her certificate of achievement and get to perform. Grace and Faith were just happy they played without any mistakes!! Grace was so nervous I thought she might get sick but she played wonderfully.
