Okay since returning from China I am having the “How can I help, I am only one person?" blues. The answer, “Do everything I can and then some.”

Pray and then pray some more for God to move in people’s hearts. All the kids at the House of Love were amazing but the older kids in the CP Unit are especially on my heart. These kids may or may not be given an opportunity to have a family and for now the House of Love really is their home! Most of them experienced life before the House of Love existed and have their own stories of neglect and abandonment and then of love, family, and acceptance. On my recent trip to China I had the opportunity to meet Jimmy. Jimmy’s legs are affected by CP but it certainly doesn’t slow down his outgoing personality. He loved practicing his English with us. Several times I heard him singing songs- his carers say he is known for making up songs, then singing them throughout the day. One of his good friends, Frank, celebrated a birthday while we were there and sweet Jimmy was more excited about it than Frank. Jimmy has a sweet ability to put others’ happiness in front of his own.
