No, not our LOA... something even more exciting. This girl of ours...
is now a sister in Christ.
Sunday at church she asked me when she could become a Christian. We had known she was getting closer because of her understanding of what Jesus did on the cross and the conversations we had been having.
We looked at Romans 10:9-13 about how to become a believer in Jesus. We said we'd talk more later with her daddy and I together.
I confess... that day got crazy. Right after church we rushed to tennis. Then that evening Yi had a crisis that I needed to be available for.
So Clayton and I set a time for Monday that we could talk to Joy.
Then during school I start talking to Joy about salvation again just to see more what she understood. She proceeds to tell me that she became a Christian Sunday night around 8pm. She said she couldn't sleep and she asked God to forgive her because she wanted to go to heaven with him one day.
You go girl! We are so excited for her and she is over the moon excited!
"That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile- the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Romans 10:9-13
So grateful that God made a way for us to have a relationship with Him!
